ONCUE
Keyboard for Parkinson's
In today’s digital world, keyboards are essential tools we rely on every day, acting as a vital bridge between the physical and digital realms. However, for the 8.5 million people worldwide living with Parkinson’s disease, using a keyboard can become a daily challenge, leading to frustration and sometimes avoidance. OnCue was designed to address this issue and improve the quality of life for people affected by Parkinson’s.
OnCue is a modular and ergonomic keyboard with wearable wristbands that combine tactile and visual cues to help relieve Parkinson’s symptoms, reducing errors and frustration. Its compact design promotes a natural posture, while the ortholinear layout ensures smoother transitions between keys. Vibrations from both the keys and the wristbands help maintain rhythm, and AI-guided visual cues support typing. Customizable and modular, OnCue adapts to individual needs, offering a fully personalized experience.
